Michael Jackson was a pop Icon. He was also a drug addict. I am appalled and how non-judicial the judicial system is.
We, the public, was unaware that he had been taking prescription drugs thirty one years, since his fall in that famous Pepsi commercial he endorsed.
Everyone keeps saying that they want Conrad Murray sentenced to jail but step into his shoes. Michael Jackson could have ruined his career with one phone call, one report, one notion of dissatisfaction. He was at the mercy of Michael Jackson.
If he had not given Jackson what he wanted he would have surely ended his career. Instead, he made a hard decision after fore warning Jackson of the dangers. Michael Jackson was not murdered, he overdosed on a very dangerous drug that the Doctor could legally administer.
Murray was paid a lot of money to obey the pop-stars commands and obey his beck and call. Jackson was fifty years old, had knowledge of the drug, and all of the effects and dangers. He was a drug addict who wanted more.
I am sorry for the Murray family, and I pray his family stay by his side, and that he is not sued for all the money he earned while caring for Michael as it is unfair.
Michael Jackson was the King of Pop, he was also extremely strange with all of the face and skin changes over the years. Some of that may have been due to drugs and some can be attributed to surgeries.
Michael has several child sexual abuse cases that were taken out against him. After his passing, one newspaper cleared Michael of the charges saying that one of the alleged victims admitted to lying and the other alleged victim’s father committed suicide days after Jackson’s death due to guilt. It still doesn’t explain some of his behaviors.
Michael Jackson was innovative, and a musical genius the way he made such an original type of sound for himself. But, Michael was still an addict like many musicians, and as far as I’m concerned, he overdosed like many musicians do. Whether someone helped him or not will never change his appetite for the dangerous drug he was taking.
Conrad Murray made a poor decision that probably scared the living organisms out of him. He didn’t intend to harm Michael, but he was hired to give him drugs!
I think a better use of Conrad Murray’s expertise would have been to make him work in a rehab facility where he’s taking care of patients in recovery.
We will never know the last moments of MJ’s life, but I know that there was a cry heard around the world when we heard the news. Everything, and I mean everything happens for a reason. Maybe MJ was tired of pain and suffering, maybe he had proven himself as King and the Tour would have killed him anyway.
I pray that Conrad fights for freedom and then gives back in his time and service to those suffering from addiction, or find some specialty to offer support. Dr. Phil has a television show, he doesn’t have a license to practice anymore. I hope he chooses to….
