Malcom Jamal Warner’s entire quote said this:
“I learned much less from things he sat down to talk to me about, and I learned so much just by watching him and his leading by example.”
I thought this to be a profound addition to the theme this month. There is so much more of our habits, attitudes, and unspoken behavior that influence and impress those around us, we must realize that whether you are famous by hollywood standards or famous in your neighborhood because of the lives that you impact there, people are watching.
People are not necessarily watching for gossip. Many are watching you as the forerunner. Many are watching because they see your vision and are called to run with it. Be inspired to be aware of your influence. It will make you a better leader, increase your longevity in your craft and create long-lasting relationships.
