Whip my Hair! Part Three

Here is part three of Whip my Hair!

What did he twist his hair with you ask? Nature’s Blessing. It is a unique smell that I had never smelled before, and to this day if a client, or a man walks past me with it in his hair, I know exactly what it is!

Nature’s Blessing was introduced to me by a handsome wordsmith but please rest assured that it is just as amazing on a woman. I get the same reaction when I wear it no matter what atmosphere I am in. This is undoubtedly my favorite product. However, like Organic Root Stimulator, this product is reserved for those with a specific hair budget. So, I don’t get to use it as much.

The one lesson that I have learned is to pay attention to my face because cheap products will make me break out quickly. So, to keep it light, and more affordable I will use the BB grease.

One other product that I can mention is made by Aveda. I have never regularly used their products however, someone gave me the Aveda hair product as a gift and it made my hair shine and feel more healthy than I had ever experienced before. It looked as if each strand of my hair was glazed like a donut. I only used this product until it was all gone, but it’s definitely worth the mention here because it was so amazing on my hair this fall.Aveda Humectant Pomade is in the expensive column. I found it to be $21.99 on Amazon.com.

I have provided you with all good choices depending upon your hair care budget. For me, I have hair that falls down my back always. I need something that will take care of my hair, my daughter’s long hair and allow us to still eat. I wasn’t sure I knew enough about hair to write about it, but here we are!

I hope that the products that I have suggested have been helpful. The products that I have mentioned are great for natural and permed hair. I have a few other tips to help you maintain amazing hair. The tips are of critical importance because people with locks who do not pay attention are often frustrated by lock breakage, and hair damage.

Here are a few Tips:

  1. When you twist your hair, remember not to twist too tight. You can thin out your hair and eventually break off a lock.
  2. You want to make sure to grease your scalp in addition to using products directly on your locks to keep your scalp healthy.
  3. Pay attention to your face. If you are breaking out, chances are you need to check the products that you are using.
  4. Touch is a powerful thing. Make sure that if you are having someone to take care of your hair, that they have the right energy. Energy travels and you must protect yourself, or choose a hair dresser that is spiritually strong so that you are protecting your constitution.

I hope that this information has been useful for you. I am not good at styling my hair but my 14 year old is great at it. Let me talk her into writing a blog about styling. If however you need any maintenance or styling assistance. Please feel free to ask questions or contact us for help with your hair! You can probably twist our arm to make a hair appointment if you have all the goods at your place!
