Ted Williams…the confrontation (Dr. Phil) VERY INTERESTING!
Look at where Ted Williams was living! In a tent, by a freeway.
People who suffer from addiction, and stand on a corner with a sign are there for a reason. I think that this Ted Williams thing has gotten out of hand. We know that he wasn’t standing on a corner for fun. I think that people choosing to dig up his painful addiction because they wanted to “reveal” him was not in good taste. However, I love the idea that Dr. Phil has stepped in to ensure that he receives the help that he needs!
In my opinion…his family should not be on television talking about him currently addicted. I don’t know. He doesn’t owe me an explanation for him being homeless, and quite frankly I don’t care why. I think he should get help but the only story I need is the Golden Voice! The public is making him famous, but this is a way to tear him down. If he is a crack-head these actions are not surprising but JENAY, his daughter who also appeared on the show with Dr. Phil, is just as angry and toxic to him as he is to her.
If you look at the video in this blog, you can see where he was living, in a tent in God knows where. I believe that this is a life-changing opportunity but he doesn’t need to be near his family. In my opinion, his family could be a hindrance to his healing and this is a critical time for him.
I pray that he takes the time to personally heal, using his gift to this rehab center as a restorative period.
We are Praying for Ted Williams
Life going Forward
As a woman who has been in a dysfunctional environment with family, I do not believe that it is Ted’s responsibility to try to fix his relationships with his family right now. I think that all people with addictions are dishonest to some degree. I think people need to stop asking him questions. Allow him the opportunity to change his life, offering support and stepping back so that he can make a decision that this is the chance of a lifetime.
I really think that his families anger is too much right now. I have a family member that I hated for a long time for stealing from me, and for not being a good person to me. When he healed, he came back and apologized. Allow Ted Williams in his own time to heal, and then he can determine what relationships he desires to restore.
