April 23rd, 2011 is a day that no one at the Arlington Central Library 1015 North Quincy Street Arlington Virginia, will ever forget, especially not Ressurrection Graves, author of the her debut memoir, Identity Crisis, Identity Christ Is: A Journey to Love
Over the last two years, as Ressurrection worked tirelessly on completing this memoir, she has lived parts of the book, and very few people have been around to see the book transparently for themselves. Some of the individuals who Ressurrection called friend, have disappeared for whatever reasons and what is left standing are what Ressurrection considers to be a few tried and true friends. This is an answered prayer!
One of her friendships started as a business relationship that overtime has stunned them both. Nicki Sanders by Ressurrection’s claim is indeed a visionary, a leader and is the most passionate community service minded person that she has ever met.
NICKI SANDERS
You may remember this blog about Nicki Sanders, Chief Visionary Officer for The Teen Toolbox LLC. Nicki Sanders wrote a blog about a friend who has been homeless and trying to maintain her faith through the storm. She talked about a new type of homelessness, and she wrote a compelling letter that gave a call to action.
“I mention this article because she describes her own career better than I ever could. The New Face of Homelessness was well written on her blog.
Over the last several years that I have known her, Nicki Sanders has been an amazing advocate for community service, giving her life to her own passions within the community service aspect of giving.
She has become a great friend and confidant, and it is my pleasure to introduce her as the Announcer for Ressurrection Graves on April 23rd, 2011.”
Her duties will be to talk about Ressurrection and her own personal observation of Identity Crisis, Identity Christ Is: A Journey to Love being written.
“Nicki Sanders, MSW works in crisis situations with teenage girls and I felt that there would be no greater person to talk about the relevance of the book for the teen audience, and readership than someone who works in the trenches with girls that have similar stories as my own,” says Ressurrection
She has some personal insight into this journey and there is probably no one more befitting as one of Ressurrection’s friends to introduce her.
In addition to Nicki Sanders, Chief Visionary of the Teen Toolbox announcing Ressurrection she will be available to offer insight into the Emotional Abuse topic of discussion/workshop that Ressurrection will cover in her speech.
Ressurrection has a way with events! Like her as a person, there are moments that you must capture. This is not an event that will repeat itself just because it has the same title and script. It is our pleasure to extend an invitation to you to attend Ressurrection Graves’ First-EVER Book signing.
Dress to impress there will be lots of media coverage!
