My palms are sweaty… okay, my palms are not sweaty but I feel like my palms are sweaty. Today is Monday and I have less than a week before the Identity Crisis Weekend. My memoir, Identity Crisis, Identity Christ Is: A Journey to Love will be released this weekend, at an event in my home town, Arlington Virginia at Arlington Central Library 1015 North Quincy Street, Arlington Virginia 22201.
I have secured an Investor who believes in me, my story and my marketing abilities. The investor will be in the crowd at the event. I have people who have spoken positive affirmations over my life who suspect that this weekend will be the “breaking of day” for me.
I agree. I believe that this weekend will absolutely change my entire life. As all of my events in the past have proven, whomever is supposed to be there, will be. Will you? I think I am more nervous about the fact that I don’t want anyone who is supposed to be there to miss it, than whether it will be a success.
Have you ever been at a place where you could feel the temperature rise, you could hear the pot of water about to boil, you know that the steam and pressure from the tea pot is about to make it scream that really uncomfortable noise that has a similar ring as the fingernails and the chalkboard?
Well, I’m reaching that point! My senses are heightened. I have impeccable hearing but my goodness, I’m so sensitive to sound. I am enlightened and excited about going to the next glory. I have faith in God that my season of drought and misfortune are over.
I am thankful for the lessons and celebrating that I am coming out of the wilderness. The Identity Crisis Weekend is more about moving on than simply a book release!
A business-friend of mine namingly Edmond Lee , took my Identity Crisis Poem that was released on You Tube last week and improved upon it. He added subtle changes that includes a powerful call to action for smart phone users at the end.
