Profiles for Child Sexual Abuse Awareness April 2012

And it won't when you show your support by sharing.

Greetings,

My name is Ressurrection Graves. You may have read my blog for a while in passing or have taken the plunge to join my blog family. You can join us right now by adding your email address on the right hand side ————————–> we don’t bite! If you are a WordPress user, please reblog this! Allow other WordPress users who are healing from Child Sexual Abuse to join our community.

I love having the opportunity to share information with you. This blog has been dedicated to my life learning, love and relationships and as you know Child Sexual Abuse. This blog has been a healer for me, in addition to writing the book, Identity Crisis, Identity Christ Is: A Journey to Love.

The blog allows me to share stories with you about overcoming child sexual abuse in a way that I know others do not. I only know this because you keep complimenting me :), and thank you very much.

Your support has been tremendous. This April, I am taking a bit of a leap to invite others to share their stories of triumph. I have asked some folks how they have overcome child sexual abuse and it is extremely important to me that you support their efforts as well. We are a beautiful community filled with gifts, and blessings that we can bestow on one another, so join in. Don’t hold back on the share button. Please do not keep this site all to yourself.

Borrowed from Writing for Recovery (A WordPress Blog)

My request is a bit informal I know, however what we would love to see, is five-thousand followers committed to sharing stories that are published. You can become a follower by putting your email address in on the right hand side or if you have a WordPress blog, you may have an option to click “follow” somewhere on the page.

I will write a few pieces about the Ten Ways To Safeguard Your Child From Sexual Abuse. You will see others’ stories, and be able to share these blogs with the world. This is my month, the month where I tell the world that they have everything that they need on the inside of them to be healed from child sexual abuse and then they can come here to get tools to help them do it.

Please do not ignore this blog. Join me. Understand that the more that someone else knows about child sexual abuse prevention, the safer your children are. Think for a moment,

Who do you know that can benefit from this?

I have a right to protection. Will you learn how to protect me? Please?

As I say when I go out and speak, consider this your CPR class for Child Sexual Abuse, every citizen should have access to this information so that you can activate it for emergencies.

Here is our most popular blog: Child Sexual Abuse

There are statistics that will blow your mind in the above article. You can start by sharing that blog, or this one and by all means please subscribe ————————> to the right on the website www.ressurrection.wordpress.com . We look forward to connecting with you. Do not be afraid to leave a comment.

So many people suffer from sexual abuse as children. It’s heartbreaking.

Thank you for this blog. I came across it after googling relationship effects of childhood sexual abuse. My healing begins today, largely in part due to your blog. I was sexually and physically abused by an older step brother from age 8 and I don’t even remember when it stopped. I was raped at 14 by a police officer while walking around a track at a school at night. I had told my father of the abuse but he had no reaction at all and never attempted to help me. I lost faith in love that day and without even realizing it I began the downward spiral of self destruction. Throughout my life I have never been able to maintain a successful relationship with anyone, I began abusing alcohol drugs while in middle school, I began engaging inappropriate sex and treated myself with so much disrespect. I moved out at 18 and my behavior worsened. I got pregnant by some guy in the apartment complex that I lived in after bringing a 6 pack to his place and having sex the first time I spent any time with him. That child saved my life and I ended up with that man for 10 years. Until I found out that he himself was a predator and that he had no boundaries with his students/children. He had been asked to resign from two teaching/coaching jobs and had immediately been hired by another school district because there was no record in his file. You talk about trusting your intuition and looking back I always felt he had an inappropriate casualness with his students and had even accused him of flirting with some of the girls! I knew it in my gut but didn’t listen. We also had a daughter within those 10 years who is my whole world. I woke up today realizing I need to heal. For years this has haunted me and I feel like a lost soul who is so paranoid of people that I can’t ever feel comfortable with anyone. My life looks great from everyone else’s perspective but from mine I am a train wreck. I look forward to this blog and learning from it. Healing begins today!
