Welcome to April 2012! This is Child Sexual Abuse Awareness Month. In honor of this time where the rest of the world will be focused on awareness and prevention, we want to join them and add another element; true healing.
Many of you who read this blog may not forward it because you are still responding to your silence rather than your platform, and that is absolutely okay. Remember that they will not know your story, only you will know your story until you share it. If you share our blog, this is a great time for people to know that you are supporting a worthwhile cause and not that you are affected by Child Sexual Abuse at all. What we want more than anything is to share stories of people who have overcome the horrific childhood experiences that have kept them bound and lifeless even if the lifelessness has shown up in pocketed areas.
Child Sexual Abuse is very destructive claiming lives with its mental and physical effects. We want to disarm the enemy and put our trust and belief in the reality that healing is possible.
As for me, my name is Ressurrection Graves. Child Sexual Abuse has cornered my family and no one is ready to fight back yet, except me. I pray for my family and I talk about my life and my experiences in my book, Identity Crisis, Identity Christ Is: A Journey to Love.
This blog chronicles my journey to overcome child sexual abuse, and to work through the family dysfunction. I talk about breaking through poverty as an Entrepreneur and an independent thinker. I speak and write professionally, full time.
This month is not about me. If I am inspired or feel lead, I will write a blog ( I kind-of feel one coming on!)

What we all have in common is a desire, and a need to be healed from tragedy.
